Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid 2008

Recently they received the Mercury prize with The Seldom Seen Kid, despite strong competition from Radiohead, Burial, Robert Plant or The Last Shadow Puppets.

According to the musician "any person who has made music in Manchester know who he was." At the ceremony, Guy Garvey said that "The trophy will be presented to Mandy Glancy, the mother of Brian."
